Accessibility, in plain words.

We want this site to work for everyone who visits, however they use it. This page says what we tested, where it still falls short, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

Last updated 13 October 2026.

What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Most accessibility laws point to these guidelines.

What we tested on 13 October 2026

We tested the live site ourselves. Nobody from outside has audited it yet.

  • We moved through every link, button and form field with the keyboard alone, forwards and backwards, on the home page, a service page and the Privacy page, at phone and computer widths. Every stop showed a visible outline, and the header at the top never covered one. One picture in our work could be reached while it was still closed. We fixed that the same day.
  • We measured the contrast of text against what sits behind it, including the small labels over our pictures and films.
  • We ran Lighthouse, Google's automated check. The home page, a service page and the Privacy page each scored 100 out of 100 for accessibility on a phone.
  • We turned on the setting that asks a device for less motion, and looked at the home page again.

How the site behaves

  • Our films never play sound on their own, and they never loop. Click or tap a film to pause it or play it.
  • The introduction film has music and no spoken words. The seven steps it shows are written out beside it.
  • If your device asks for less motion, the opening animation is skipped, the films inside the big word stay still, and the moving background holds one still frame.
  • Pictures of our work have short descriptions for screen readers.
  • The first stop on every page is a "Skip to content" link.
  • The contact form's spam check works in the background. There is no puzzle to solve.

Where it still falls short

  • Some titles over our pictures are set in cream. Where the picture behind them is pale, parts of the letters fall below the contrast we aim for. We added a soft shadow behind them, which helps, and we are still working on it.
  • On a large screen, three tall pictures in the work section are taller than the window, so you see one part of each at a time.
  • We have not yet tried the site with a screen reader such as VoiceOver or NVDA.
  • The site is in English only for now.
