DB Media Start a project

Privacy, in plain words.

This is what we collect when you visit our website or send us a note, and what happens to it next: what we do with it, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask of us.

Last updated 11 October 2026.

The short version

  • We collect what you type into the contact form, plus the technical details any website needs to work and stay safe.
  • We use your details to reply to you. If you tick the newsletter box, we will also send you the newsletter once it starts.
  • A person at the studio reads every note and writes every reply.
  • We never sell your details or share them for advertising.
  • This site shows no ads, and we do not set cookies ourselves.
  • To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, write to hello@dbmedia.world.

Who we are

DB Media runs this website, dbmedia.world. DB Media is a branch of DB TECH, Lebanon, an AI-powered creative studio working remotely with businesses wherever they are.

DB TECH is responsible for the details you give us on this site.

Questions about anything on this page go to hello@dbmedia.world.

This page covers the website. It is not the agreement we sign with clients. If you become a client, your project's agreement also explains how we handle your details and your material during the work.

What we collect

When you send a note through the form

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your brand's Instagram handle or website, or both, if you choose to add them
  • Your phone number, if you choose to add it
  • Your message
  • The answers you tap under "Not sure what to write?", if you use it: where your brand is now, what you would like, and what your business does
  • Whether you ticked the newsletter box
  • The date and time you sent it

We need your name, your email address and your message to reply. Everything else is up to you. Without the three we need, the form cannot send and we cannot answer you.

Please keep sensitive details out of your message, such as health, religion or bank details. We do not need them, and we take no payments on this site.

To prepare a good reply, we may look at your brand's public pages, such as the Instagram account and the website you give us. That is why the form asks for them.

When you visit any page

  • Cloudflare, the company that hosts our site, receives the technical details your browser sends with every visit to any website: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for and the page that linked you to it. It uses them to deliver the page and to protect the site from attacks.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits. It records which pages are viewed, which site sent you, your rough country and your browser and device type. We see totals only, such as "120 visits this week". We never see a list of people.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is sending the form. It starts when you first use the form and normally runs without you noticing. To tell people from bots, it looks at your browser and connection, including your IP address.

When you email us directly

We receive your email address and whatever you write.

Why we use your details

What we doWhy
Read your note, reply, and talk with you about a possible projectYou asked us to. Replying is a step toward an agreement you may want to make with us.
Send you the newsletter, only if you ticked the boxYou agreed by ticking it. You can take it back at any time.
Keep the site working and safe, and stop spamTo keep the site secure. Only the details needed for this are used.
Count visits, so we know which pages are usefulTo improve the site. We see totals only, and no profile of you is built.
Keep or hand over information when a law requires itBecause the law requires it.

We do not use your details to make automatic decisions about you. We also do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not use your details for advertising.

Lebanon's Law No. 81 of 2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data also applies to us. We use your details only for the purposes on this page. When you send a note, you agree that we use it to reply to you. When you tick the newsletter box, you agree to receive the newsletter.

The newsletter

  • The box on the form starts unticked. You are added only if you tick it yourself.
  • We are not sending a newsletter yet. Until we start, your yes is just a line in the email we receive. There is no mailing list.
  • When the newsletter starts, it will carry new work and tips, as the box says. Before the first one, we will email you once to ask you to confirm. If you do not confirm, you are not added.
  • Every newsletter will say who sent it, give a postal address for the studio, and have an unsubscribe link.
  • If we use an email service to send it, we will name that service on this page before the first email goes out.
  • You can change your mind at any time. Write to hello@dbmedia.world, or use the unsubscribe link once emails begin, and we will take you off.
  • We never sell your details or pass them to anyone for their own marketing.

Who else handles your details

We share your details only with the companies that run our site and our inbox. They handle your details to provide their services to us.

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) hosts the website, runs the spam check (Turnstile) and the visit counter (Web Analytics), and forwards your note to our inbox through Cloudflare Email Routing. The site's own code stores nothing: your note goes straight into one email to our inbox. For the spam check, Cloudflare also uses some of the technical signals for its own purpose of making its bot detection better. Cloudflare's privacy policy and its Turnstile privacy addendum.
  • Google LLC (United States) provides the email inbox where your note arrives and where we write our reply. Google's privacy policy.

We will also hand over information if a court or an authority lawfully requires it.

Details sent to other countries

Our providers may handle your details in other countries. Cloudflare's network runs worldwide, and Google stores email in the United States and elsewhere.

How long we keep your details

  • Your note: we keep it only as long as we need it to reply to you and work with you.
  • If you become a client: your details move to our client records, and your project's agreement says how long we keep them.
  • The newsletter: before the newsletter starts, your yes stays with your note and is kept the same way. Once you are on the newsletter list, we keep your name and email there until you unsubscribe. We also keep a record of your consent as proof that you said yes: the date, the exact words of the box you ticked, and where you ticked it.
  • Visit counts and security records: Cloudflare keeps these under its own policy. Visit counts reach us only as totals. Security records can include IP addresses, and we do not use them to identify anyone.

You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Cookies

This site shows no ads, and we do not set cookies ourselves. Our own code stores nothing in your browser.

Our fonts, pictures and films all come from our own site. The only outside services a page loads are Cloudflare's spam check (Turnstile) and its visit counter (Web Analytics). Cloudflare runs them under its own policies, linked above.

If you follow a link to Instagram or TikTok, those sites set their own cookies under their own policies.

Your rights

Lebanon's Law No. 81 of 2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data lets you ask us to:

  • tell you whether we hold details about you, what they are, and send you a copy
  • correct anything that is wrong
  • delete your details
  • stop using your details, including for marketing such as the newsletter
  • take back your consent to the newsletter at any time

To ask, write to hello@dbmedia.world. It costs nothing, and we reply within 10 working days. To protect you, we may ask you to confirm it is really you, usually by writing from the email address you used with us.

If you are unhappy with how we handled your details, write to us at hello@dbmedia.world and we will answer. Lebanon has no separate data protection authority. Law No. 81 of 2018 lets you take the matter to the courts.

Keeping your details safe

  • Every page and every form send travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
  • The form accepts notes only from our own page, and only after the spam check passes.
  • The site's own code stores nothing. Its error records hold error codes only, never your words or your address.
  • Only the studio reads the notes in our inbox.

No system is perfectly safe. If a breach ever puts your details at risk, we will tell you, and the authorities where the law requires it.

Children

This website is not made for children, and we do not knowingly collect their details. If you think a child has sent us their details, write to us and we will delete them.

Links to other sites

Our pages link to our Instagram and TikTok. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies, not this one.

Changes to this page

When this page changes, we update it here and change the date at the top. If we ever want to use details you already gave us for a new purpose, we will ask you first.
