Terms of use, in plain words.

These terms cover your use of this website. We kept them short. By using the site, you agree to them.

They are not our client agreement. If we work together, a separate written agreement covers the project, and these terms play no part in it.

Who we are

DB Media runs this website, dbmedia.world. DB Media is a branch of DB TECH, Lebanon, an AI-powered creative studio working remotely with businesses wherever they are. DB TECH is the party to these terms and to any project agreement we make with you. You can reach us at hello@dbmedia.world.

Using the site

Look around, watch the films, share links to our pages, send us a note. You are welcome to do all of that.

Please do not:

try to break into the site, overload it, or get around its spam check
send spam or harmful code through the form
send someone else's details without their permission, or pretend to be someone you are not
use the site for anything unlawful

If someone uses the site in a way that harms it or other people, we may block their access.

Anything you send us through the form is handled as our Privacy page explains.

Our work, and how it is made

The brands you see on this site are our own inventions. We made them as concept work to show what we can do. They are not real products, and they are not our clients.

The pictures and films are made with AI, directed by the studio. We choose the idea, guide every picture and film, and decide what is good enough to show.

Any likeness to a real brand, product or person is unintended. If something here looks too close to a real brand or a real person, write to us and we will look at it quickly.

Who owns what

The words, pictures, films, design and code on this site, and the DB Media name and logo, are our work or are used with permission. The way our pictures and films are chosen, arranged and edited is our work too. We keep every right the law gives us in all of it.

You may not copy, download to reuse, edit, republish or sell anything from this site, or use it in your own work, without our written permission. To ask, write to hello@dbmedia.world.

Sharing a link to one of our pages is fine. So is sharing our posts with the share button on Instagram or TikTok.

Search engines and AI assistants may read, index and quote our pages, so that people can find us. That does not include copying our pictures and films to train AI models. We reserve those rights, including under the EU's rules on text and data mining.

Nothing here is an offer

The site shows examples of what we make. It lists no prices, makes no offer, and does not promise any result for your brand. Work begins only when we both sign a written agreement for the project.

Rights to the finished work are agreed in writing, in that agreement, before the work starts.

No promises about the site

We work to keep the site accurate and running. Even so, we provide it as it is, and we cannot promise it will always be available, free of mistakes, or free of anything harmful.

Limits of our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using this site, from being unable to use it, or from relying on anything on it. That includes lost profit, lost data and lost business.

This does not limit our responsibility for fraud, for harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit.

Links to other sites

Our pages link to Instagram and TikTok. We do not run those sites and are not responsible for them. Once you are there, their own terms apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. Whatever version is on this page when you use the site is the one that applies.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of Lebanon, where DB TECH is based. Any dispute about them will be settled by the competent courts of Lebanon.

If you use the site as a consumer, outside your trade or business, you also keep the protection of the laws of the country where you live that an agreement cannot take away, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.

If a court decides that one part of these terms does not apply, the rest still does.
